Power Cloud is a project of technologies and algorithms in the existing regulatory framework of the electricity market to a "new deal" for consumers and small producers of energy from renewable sources, funded under H2020 - Sustainable Growth Fund programme PON Enterprise and Competitiveness 2014-2020 by the Ministry of Economic Development in partnership with V&T Consulting Srl and University of Calabria

The objective of the project aims to increase the diffusion of renewable sources in a process in which citizens are the main factors and mere extras no longer exist inside the energy market.

The project started in October 2017 and has run for a period of 36 months. The activities of the project include business model creating; distributing and creating value for all members of the community; creating a software platform for the coordinator of the profiles to upload and producing of prosumer/consumer through the enabling technologies specifically designed for this purpose. In particular, these are the technologies for smart metering, fundamental to monitor moment by moment the profiles of the whole community, the interface between the prosumer/consumer and the public distribution network.
