ICE-Building successful Italian-Tunisian ICT partnerships, Tunis, Tunisia, 21-22 October 2010

Further to a seminar held in Tunis in December 2009 on Technology Transfer & Innovation, the Italian foreign trade Institute (ICE) appointed INNOVA with the mission of carrying out a program to support and accompany 6 selected Tunisian companies in the ICT sector in their development and search for Italian couterparts. The Tunisian projects were promoted on the italian market and 11 matching possibilities with Italian counterparts were identified with a strong interest in an internationalisation or outsourcing process in Tunisia.

The final panel of the program was presented in Tunis on 21st and 22nd October 2010 by INNOVA’s CEO, Aleardo Furlani, during which  Italian and Tunisian companies were successfully brought together resulting in a substantial number of concrete future partnerships in the ICT sector.

The ICT sector in Tunisia is rapidly evolving and has created a hub of high level competences. Technological and commercial cooperation opportunities with Tunisia is ever growing. The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, in collaboration with  Innova, has successfully organised several seminars on the topic and launched so far 3 programmes to assist and accompany innovative tunisian companies since 2008.
