Israeli and Italian biotechnology companies to meet in Tel Aviv lauching future collaboration opportunities, 22-23 June 2011, Tel Aviv

Further to the training workshop on Technology Transfer and Innovation held in Tel Aviv in December 2010, the Italian foreign trade Institute (ICE) appointed INNOVA with the mission of carrying out a program to support and accompany 3 selected Israeli companies in the biotechnology sector  with their business development and search for Italian counterparts.

The Israeli projects were promoted on the Italian market and matching possibilities with Italian counterparts identified with a strong interest in an internationalisation or outsourcing process in Israel.

The final panel on the results of the accompanying activities will be presented within a workshop in Tel Aviv on the 22nd June where Aleardo FURLANI, CEO of INNOVA, is the appointed lecturer. The methods and procedures to launch successful technological, scientific and trade partnerships between Israel and Italy will be presented and in particular, technology transfer and cooperation in the R&D framework, compliance with technical standards, market access, industrial cooperation will be highlighted.

The workshop will be followed by B2B meetings on 23rd June bringing together the identified Italian counterparts and the selected Israeli companies.
