Innova - Training workshop on technology transfer and internationalization in the ICT field, 15-16 December 2009, Tunis (Tunisia)

Based on the successful outcomes of the seminars and accompanying actions held in Tunisia in 2008 and 2009 on Technology Transfer, Innovation and internationalization organized by the Italian foreign trade Institute (ICE), a new training seminar on the theme will be held on 15-16 December at the El Gazala technology parc focusing in particular on the ICT sector.

Aleardo Furlani, CEO of INNOVA, has been appointed lecturer by ICE to present the methods and procedures to launch successful technological, scientific and trade partnerships between Tunisia and Italy. In particular, technology transfer and cooperation in the R&D framework, compliance with technical standards, market access, industrial cooperation will be highlighted. The lecture will further be illustrated by the presentation of actual cases of cooperation between Tunisian and Italian SMEs.

INNOVA will also coach, analyse and collect new project ideas from interested Tunisian ICT companies. The aim is to select a number of promising projects to be inserted in a “Supporting and accompanying” programme which will follow in 2010 assisting and promoting Tunisian business development projects and identifying matching possibilities with Italian counterparts interested in an internationalisation or outsourcing process in Tunisia in the ICT field.
