The Italian foreign trade Institute (ICE) organised, in cooperation with several local partners, including The Israeli Ministry of Regional Cooperation, The Dead Sea and Arava Science Centre and the Palestinian Wastewater Engineering Group, a training workshop on Technology Transfer, Innovation and internationalization held in Tel Aviv on 15th December 2010.
Aleardo FURLANI, CEO of INNOVA, was the appointed lecturer. He presented the methods and procedures to launch successful technological, scientific and trade partnerships between Israel and Italy. In particular, technology transfer and cooperation in the R&D framework, compliance with technical standards, market access and industrial cooperation was highlighted. The workshop focused on the environment and energy sector.
The training workshop was followed by a coaching activity on the 16th December where the participating companies where able to meet the Italian experts present. A number of new project ideas from interested Israeli companies were collected in the biotechnology field that will be receive a closer coaching assistance from INNOVA.
