INNOVA is appointed service provider for the Italian Telecom operator TRE. The service consists in the generation and analysis of metrics from terminal testing.
The metrics detection system already developed by INNOVA is upgraded and adapted to the specific needs of TRE . INNOVA carries out a series of technical tests to verify the compatibility of new mobile devices produced by different production houses, through the network infrastructure made available by TRE. The activities involve the execution of test drives, the collection of data during the drive testing, its processing and the its final reporting.
The added value to the testing activities essentially lie in the provision of vocational training of resources involved in the project, in the organisation of coordinated teams, in tailored support logistics and the overall improvement of the final reports produced. INNOVA also provides for a senior engineer who acts as a coordinator and interface between the operational teams and TRE.
In a longer term, an automatic execution tool to detect the metrics will be developed.
