Training course on International trade for Algerian women managers, Algiers, 21-23 February 2011

Over 60 women business leaders attended the training course on international trade organized in Algiers by the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE). “The Algerian women have always played a key role in the history of the country” said the Ambassador of Italy, Giampaolo Cantini, in his opening speech. “They have always fought for liberty during the difficult years Algeria has known”- he added that ”all the conditions exist to expand their presence in the field of entrepreneurship”.

Aleardo FURLANI, CEO of INNOVA, was the appointed lecturer for the first day of the workshop, covering in particular the topics of innovation and  technology transfer. The aim of the workshop was to provide the local women managers with enhanced skills and knowledge in the field of business internationalization and encourage the launch of successful technological, scientific and trade partnerships between Algeria and Italy.
