The National Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE), is organizing, on the 30th March, a technical workshop and training course for SMEs in Nicosia (Cyprus), in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cyprus and the National Rural Network of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Aleardo FURLANI, CEO of Innova, is among the four Italian experts who have been invited to lecture during the workshop which focuses on new technologies and promotion channels for the local agro-industrial sector. He will cover the topics of technology transfer and innovation.

The workshop is a follow-up of a training course organized in Cyprus in 2008 and a study tour organized in Italy in 2010 during which industrial players of the agro-food industry from Cypus were able to meet various Italian institutions specialized in innovation and technology transfer, among which also Innova S.p.A.

The training course will be followed by business meetings (B2B), organized together with the Chamber of Commerce of Cyprus, with about 80 expected  industrial players. Potential project ideas will be gathered and evaluated during the business meetings.

On March 31st, the Italian experts will hold several meetings with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the University of Nicosia.
