WHAT IS THE METROPOLITAN AGRIFOOD FACTORY (MAF)?
The Metropolitan Agrifood Factory (MAF) is a Factory selected for funding by ARTI - Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation of the Puglia Region, as part of the public notice "Talent extraction – Factory Selection” and aims to support teams with high growth potential in the "Human and environmental health" innovation area, also promoting open innovation among startups, businesses and the global ecosystem of the agri-food sector, through a series of integrated services such as the design of acceleration courses, business training content, tutoring and mentorship for startups and businesses, creation of networks that facilitate open innovation between companies, SMEs and the national and international innovation ecosystem.
ABOUT THE VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
The Virtual Workshop "MAF: concrete support for innovative start-ups" (“MAF: un supporto concreto per le start up innovative”), will take place on May 28th at 3.30 pm.
The Virtual Workshop was conceived to create a transversal approach aimed at supporting teams with high growth potential, promoting open innovation among startups, businesses and the global ecosystem of the Agrifood sector, through the design of routes of acceleration.
In the Virtual Workshop course, after the presentations of MAF Management Board by CNA Puglia, Bari’s Chamber of Commerce, Coid Srl, Puglia Natura Consortium, Innova Srl, Invent Srl, Manager Association Italy Puglia-Calabria-Basilicata, Authorities of Fiera Levante and Research Centre, Experimentation and Training in Agriculture "Basile-Caramia", the team of DiSAAT - Department of Agro-Environmental and Territorial Sciences of the University of Bari (location of the event) will intervene, coordinates will Prof. Salvatore Camposeo. Dr Maria Caserta and Dr Giuseppe Mangialavori will complete the coordination of the workshop. The meeting was moderated by Prof. Salvatore Camposeo.
