Space expert on the Seventh European Framework Programme
In FP7 (2007-2013) INNOVA has been assigned with the role of Expert in the Italian Delegation for the "Space" Programme Committee in particular for GMES - Global Monitoring on Environment and Security theme. GMES is the European contribution to the Group on Earth Observation (GEO) and GEOSS (Global Earth Observation System of Systems). The appointed INNOVA representative is Ms. Angela Vulcano who, for this UE-ESA initiative, has been working in the national coordination office at the Italian Ministry of Research since 2001 and has been appointed representative of the Ministry in the High Level Working Group at the European Commission.
