IRE Secretariat

Since 2004, INNOVA has been coordinating the IRE Secretariat, the Coordination Unit of the Innovating Regions in Europe, aiming to facilitate the exchange and the valorization of regional experiences and innovation practices. The IRE is considered, together with the IRC one of the largest European Networks in charge of innovation and technology transfer.

INNOVA also carries out animation activities for the IRE Network, provides Info Point services, organizes events, conferences and meetings around the regional innovation theme.

According to the latest Customer satisfaction Survey (2008), conducted by the Observatory of Innovation at Cardiff Business School in Wales (UK), “the overwhelming majority of respondents rated IRE Secretariat overall services coordinated by INNOVA as either very good or good and in particular the services “Help Desk” & “Partner Search” were rated at 100% good or very good.
